Store Person
The Bridge Networks, a leading technology systems integration company for the broadcast industry, is currently looking for a Store Person to join our highly qualified and skilled team.

Within this role, your key responsibilities will include:

  • To manage the warehouse – by receiving and dispatching equipment and goods to installation sites using domestic and international freight
  • To assist with the management of warehouse operations and administer incoming and outgoing inventory – by maintaining and updating JTR system
  • To maintain a clean, and safe work environment
To succeed in this role you will have:

  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Computer literary, use of databases
  • Time management and organisations skills
  • Practical understanding of OH&S legislation

Graduate Commissioning Engineer
The Bridge Networks requires a number of graduate Commissioning Engineers to install facilities (to the provided design and scope) for both analogue and digital radio as well as television broadcasting systems and for telecommunication systems. 

This position does require travel to our broadcast transmission sites throughout Australia and therefore would best suit someone who is able to be away from their home environment for approximately 2 weeks out of each month. Broadcast Technician - Canberra
Broadcast Australia is currently looking for a Broadcast Technician who has experience in maintaining RF transmission systems and associated infrastructure. Some of the skills this role will require, but are not limited to include:

  • On-call capability with minimal direction
  • Service restoration
  • Corrective maintenance
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Proof of Performance testing
  • Manage and supervise contractors
  • Reposting and documentation
  • Maintain safe work practices
Ideally you will hold a diploma in Electronic Engineering or Electro-Technology or be willing to undertake on-the-job training.

Installation Technician
The Bridge Networks is a leading technology systems integration company for the broadcast industry. The company’s headquartered in Sydney and serves customers within Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Island region. The Bridge Networks is going from strength to strength; growing rapidly and expanding further into both international and new business markets, most recently the UK.

Our engineering & operations teams are at the heart of our ability to innovate and deliver results, and we are now looking for an Installation Technician to join our highly qualified and skilled team.

Working in the role of Installation Technician your key responsibilities will be to: 

  • Install facilities (to the provided design and scope) for both analogue and digital radio as well as television broadcasting systems.
  • Install facilities (to the provided design and scope) for telecommunication systems.
  • Work to process and procedures with respect to safety, quality of workmanship, progress of work and completion to scope.
  • Responsible for appearance and safety of the site while it is under Bridge control.
  • Responsible for reporting any safety incidents (including near misses) as per Bridge/Broadcast Australia processes
  • Provide engineering/technical advice as requested to the Bridge and Broadcast Australia departments and clients.
To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Experience in broadcast and telecommunications installations (desireable, not essential).
  • Experience with RF systems, hazards, installation and standards (desirable, not essential).
  • Practical understanding of OHS legislation.
  • Ability to travel extensively.
  • Willingness to climb as required.
  • Current full driver’s licence.

Implementation Engineer

We require an experienced Implementation Engineer (Project Manager with ideally a Broadcast Engineering background) to supervise a small team consisting of a Site Supervisor and a number of Technicians in delivering the installation of digital (and analogue) TV and Radio on base station sites.

This position is responsible for ensuring an installation project meets the clients’ engineering and operational requirements to a high standard of quality within the agreed timeframe and to budget. This position does require travel to our broadcast transmission sites throughout Australia and therefore would best suit someone who is able to be away from their home environment for approximately 2 weeks out of each month.

Engineering Internships - Sydney

Broadcast Australia is currently seeking expressions of interest from 3rd and 4th year engineering students who would like to do their second internship in the broadcasting industry. As a BA intern you will be involved in the planning, design, costing, implementation and commissioning of broadcast facilities around Australia. Placements run for 6 months (Jan to June and July to Dec) and on going employment will be considered at the end of the internship period. To be successful in your application, you will need to be studying an engineering degree majoring in telecommunications, electrical or electronics, have excellent communication skills, initiative, problem solving skills, an interest in broadcasting and be a team player. These positions will be based in our Sydney office.

Project Engineer
Broadcast Australia is currently seeking an enthusiastic project engineer to assist in the planning, design, and implementation of new broadcast facilities. The role is based in Sydney, with some travel required as you will be involved in the inspection and commissioning of Broadcast Australia’s facilities and field operations.

Your key responsibilities will include; designing facilities for the implementation of analogue and digital radio and television broadcasting systems; developing ‘bid briefs’; providing technical support to project managers during the implementation of managed services for BA clients; and undertaking inspection and commissioning of BA’s facilities and other field operations.  To be successful in this role you must have:

  • An engineering degree or significant experience in a technical role
