    Leasing Facilities For Telecommunications, Emergency Services and Radio Communications

    The comprehensive network of sites owned and operated by Broadcast Australia provides new and existing customers with the potential to deliver their communications to a wider audience than can be experienced on their own network.

    Broadcast Australia provides an opportunity to lease a variety of facilities through the licensing of space on towers and in transmitter halls at its sites to emergency service organisations, non-broadcasting radio communicators, many of Australia's telecommunications operators including Telstra, Singtel Optus, Vodafone and point-to-point communication providers such as AAPT, Digital Distribution Australia Pty Ltd and SOUL.

    Customers of Broadcast Australia’s site sharing services benefit from:

    • Decreased capital expenditure: Wireless communications is a high-tech, cutting-edge environment where the imperative to implement the most advanced systems has a significant cost. Broadcast Australia’s existing infrastructure means that substantial civil construction costs can be avoided.

Whilst Broadcast Australia provides towers for equipment installation, customers can also have access to accommodation with the necessary environmental conditioning, security, associated power and back up supplies, and advanced 24/7 site management/monitoring.
