New leadership in customer service

Broadcast Australia's Steve Minahan has been appointed as General Manager, Customer Service Group, to head up their newly formed Customer Service Group, delivering enhanced levels of service and outcomes for customers.
The role, which will report directly to Chief Operations Officer, Peter Lambourne, is very much in keeping with Peter's ongoing commitment to the delivery of outstanding customer service, and is part of an internal restructuring of customer-facing activities within the company.
As a result, all directly customer-facing business activities have been consolidated under the umbrella of a new 'Customer Services Group'. Comprising the Network Operations Centre, Contract Management and the Account Management teams, this new business unit will benefit from the experience and strong leadership that Steve has to offer.
According to Peter, the formation of the Customer Services Group is expected to result in immediate benefits in the way the company is able to coordinate and respond to customer requirements. "The restructuring is part of an overall strategy towards achieving a faster, better, cheaper and safer outcome for the business," he said. "This will facilitate the delivery of enhanced outcomes for our customers."
