Standing out at CRA conference

Broadcast Australia recently wowed visitors at the Commercial Radio Australia national radio conference, where it sponsored a category in the Australian Commercial Radio Awards.

Broadcast Australia sponsored a category in the (ACRAs) at the Commercial Radio Australia (CRA) national radio conference, recently held in Melbourne. The event provided an opportunity for a number of key organisations to discuss the future of the radio industry.

 Noteworthy displays at the exhibition included stands by RCS, AFTRS, Media Super, Digital Radio, AIM, AVC, Adstream, Workflow and Broadcast Australia itself. Broadcast Australia’s eye-catching stand was popular with all attendees, featuring a giant map of Australia as a backdrop, and a model broadcast tower in the foreground.

 The stand demonstrated the scope of the broadcast facilities that the company operates on behalf of the ABC and SBS, as well as for a range of commercial broadcasters in regional areas. It also displayed details of the company’s latest groundbreaking green initiative in powering a broadcast site in Tasmania from renewable energy sources.
