Project Engineer, Chatswood

You will be responsible for overseeing the initial design, drawings and specifications for projects and liaising with Design Engineers to define the scope of works and the detail surrounding the physical installation activities. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will also be involved in: 

  • Providing the overall coordination of the engineering, technical and physical installation aspects of the project;
  • Collating the technical requirements;
  • Undertaking site surveys and inspections and agree project scope;
  • Providing engineering support to project managers during implementation stage; and
  • Planning service releases and outages.

 To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • A degree in Electrical, Communications or Electronics from a recognised tertiary institute;
  • The ability to work autonomously and in remote locations
  • Experience managing small projects to completion – on time and on budget
  • The ability to project manage many projects at any one time;
  • Strong relationship engagement and management skills; and
  • High level written and verbal communications skills. 

Your previous experience in project managing the implementation of broadcast equipment, specifically in Digital Television technologies and the ability to multi task will see you succeed in this role.
