Systems and Service Desk Team Leader - Chatswood

We are seeking an experienced Systems and Service Desk Team Leader to lead the Systems and Service Desk team and to deliver Desktop and Systems Infrastructure services and support efficiently to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  •        Providing team leadership to the Systems and Service Desk Team (4 people)
  •        Operational responsibility for BA’s IT Systems
  •        Ensuring IT procedures and processes are maintained for incident, problem, and change management
  •        Maintaining key relationships with the business
  •        Vendor management
  •        Management of small Infrastructure projects
  •        Identify and provide IT solutions in alignment with business objectives
  •        Willing to work out of hours occasionally

Qualifications and skills required:

  •        Degree level qualification in IT
  •        ITIL foundation
  •        Strong VMWare ESX design and administration experience
  •        Strong Microsoft Exchange including having led an enterprise upgrade
  •        Microsoft Active Directory
  •        Microsoft Windows Server 2008
  •        EMC SAN support
  •        Windows security knowledge
  •        Infrastructure Project Management experience and knowledge of PMBOK or PRINCE2
  •        Enterprise backup experience
  •        Data archiving experience
  •        Strong customer service skills
  •        Previous team leadership experience
  •        Strong time management and resource planning ability
