General Manager, Customer Solutions, Broadcast Australia
In 2018, Paul was appointed to the role of General Manager, Customer Solutions after nine successful years as General Manager, Operations. In his new role, Paul brings an operational leadership mindset to the Account Management & Business Development team, which is tasked with the provision of high quality services to the ABC and SBS and expanding our service offering to the Commercial Broadcasters.
In his former role, Paul was primarily responsible for the Operations and Maintenance of Broadcast Australia’s networks, he led a diverse team in providing those services across Australia. Prior to his appointment as General Manager, Operations in late 2009 from his previous role as Regional Manager for Queensland, he served as Brisbane District Supervisor with THL Australia then Kordia Pty Limited. .
Through his earlier career with Telstra, Paul had been involved with Broadcast Australia’s network in a variety of maintenance and engineering capacities since 1985 until the late 1990’s, participating in major initiatives such as the reconstruction of the national broadcast network during the ‘Commercial Aggregation’ period and later, in the design and project delivery of radio communications systems throughout Queensland.
In his post-Telstra career, he built a successful consulting business and established a continental deli with his wife, before re-joining the communications industry with TVNZ in 2002.
