As CTO, Stephen’s focus is currently on new technology and the implications for the industry.
A key member of Broadcast Australia since its inception, Stephen was instrumental in the business’ transition from government agency through to private ownership, and has spearheaded key programs including the terrestrial digital roll-out for television and radio, and the highly successful Spectrum Restack program.
Stephen’s time at Broadcast Australia has included a consultancy role with UK communications infrastructure company, Arqiva, to provide senior level guidance to the Digital Switch Over (DSO) Design team, assist with the integration of the Arqiva and National Grid Wireless DSO teams and conduct a procurement review for high power transmitters in 2008.
Stephen has also conducted consultancy work domestically and throughout South East Asia, and presented papers at many domestic and international events including Broadcast Asia and the ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium.
